CoBoNet represents the construction sector on the Internet, a virtual community where construction professionals meet each other and exchange information. CoBoNet is an initiative of the BBRI (Belgian Building Research Institute) and the "Confederatie Bouw".

The "Confederatie Bouw" is the most representative employers organisation in the Belgium construction sector. The confederation covers 3 regional confederations, 23 local confederations and 17 professional confederations.
The confederation represents 14.000 construction companies, all over the country: craftsmen, small and meduim sized companies and big construction companies. There are actif as building contractors or subcontractors in the structural work, the installation sector or the finishing sector.
