The “empathic intelligent home” can contribute to solving the rapidly ageing population problem. Within the “Fit the Future” project, being part of the Dutch Enabling Environment Lab (DEEL), they will try to develop one “empathic self-supporting demo house” equipped with state-of-the-art technologies in the field of energy storage and production, etc. This demo house will also aim to “feel” the inhabitant’s needs and will try to help to satisfy these needs in other words a house with a heart and a soul thanks to home automation.
The “Fit the Future” project will examine how this house will look like and which technologies will have to be used to realize this empathic intelligent home.
