Worldline, a global player in the payments and transactions services industry, and Somfy are joining their efforts in order to develop connected services for a more comfortable home. For this purpose, both companies introduced a new proof of concept for Connected Home and Connected Car services. The connected home is a demonstration for a robotic service connected to the Somfy Tahoma home automation platform which enables the robot to perform some household tasks like opening and closing the blinds.
Somfy in the car is an intelligent application for the house. When starting the car engine, the app “Somfy in the car” will launch and will be able to command household appliances at distance.
